Naval Systems Cyberdefence Chair

The naval systems cyberdefence chair is an industrial research chair bringing together IMT Atlantique, ENSTA Bretagne, Naval Group, Thales and the École navale. For around twenty years, these partners have had a tradition of scientific exchange and collaboration in the fields of naval systems, information systems and telecommunications.

Cyberdefence was made a national priority by the 2013 White Paper on Defence and National Security. In a context of strong digital transformation of the maritime and port sector, the chair's objective is to develop training in the cybersecurity of maritime information systems and to conduct research on topics such as the detection and protection of systems and equipment on board ships and in ports.

It brings together around twenty academic researchers and about ten PhD students.
