Only people with a billet UnlockYourBrain will be able to register 5 days before the game. They will receive the registration process by email.

6 slots are available for the game; if more than 6 teams register, pre-selections will take place by email (no, no speed test).

Principe du jeu

Who Wants to Win Bitcoins is a game inspired by DEFCON's Hacker Jeopardy, but which does not fully share its concept.
The game is played in rounds: 2 selection rounds and 1 final. During each round, 3 teams of 3 players compete by answering questions. Each correct answer earns points; a wrong answer loses no points.
At the end of the round, the team with the highest number of points is declared the winner. In the event of a tie, a series of additional questions will decide between the two teams.
The team winning the final round wins a pre-funded bitcoin wallet worth €30 (to be determined).

How a round unfolds

6 question categories are chosen at random and displayed on the main screen. Each category has 5 questions ranging from 100 to 500 points, for a total of 30 questions.

During the round, one team is designated "in charge" of the question board. The team in charge chooses the next question and keeps control as long as it answers questions correctly first, and loses it if an opposing team answers correctly before it. In that case, control passes to the opposing team, which chooses the next question and is now in charge of the board.

When a question is asked, teams buzz in to give their answer. The fastest team answers first: it is awarded the points if correct, and takes control of the question board. If it is wrong, it can no longer answer for that question and the floor is given to the other teams. If it takes too long to answer, it loses its turn and the floor is given to the other teams.

If no team gives the right answer, the floor goes to the audience. If a member of the audience gives the right answer when asked, they win UYBHYS swag (t-shirt, various hardware, mugs, etc.)!

The team in charge of the question board keeps control, however.

If no one finds the answer, it is revealed and the game continues, with the team in charge of the question board keeping control.

The team in charge of the board chooses the next question, and so on until the last question.

End of the round

The round ends when all 30 questions have been asked. The teams' points are totalled, and the one with the most is then declared the winner. In the event of a tie, a sudden-death round is held: the first team to answer a question correctly wins the round.

Participants in Who Wants to Win Bitcoins implicitly accept the various forfeits that may be imposed on them during their turn, which includes but is not limited to:
• Wearing various objects on your head (underpants, masks, rubber rings, etc.);
• Wearing various accessories (glasses, fake noses, scarves, headbands, etc.);
• Enduring the host's terrible jokes;
• Etc.
The forfeits are aimed in particular at punishing those who give completely wrong answers, improbable howlers or insults towards the question writers. Likewise, rewarding accessories may be used to reward those who give clever answers, well-placed witticisms or who spot wrong answers!
No degrading, sexist, misogynistic, inappropriate, painful, depraved, undignified or undeserved forfeit will be imposed for the entire duration of the game.
